For only 99p from Waterstones, it was a good bargain. If I didn’t have at least 15 books on my to-read shelf, then I might look into reading other books from Stephen Booth.
Derbyshire isn’t really a part of the country I know much about, other than I drove through it on the way to Cheadle, so I wasn’t sure of the geography, but it did sound nice.

I feel sorry for the 5 Perrier nominees, and especially Jason Manford. The snippet on the BBC website says
A stand-up comic hailed as a successor to Peter Kay is among the nominees for this year’s Perrier Comedy Award.
Who exactly? Why can’t they name him where he is due credit? Only opening the story do we find out what his name is.
Personally I hope Chris Addison wins, but that’s because he’s the only one of the lot I’ve seen live before.
What is he on? Does this mean that I shouldn’t be supporting the Irish football team, or my New Zealand friends shouldn’t support the All Blacks at rugby?

I’ve been Consecutive Number Plate Spotting now for 1 year, and have found 260 plates, so a quick bit of maths say another 3 years to go!
We saw this film last week, and it’s great.
Tim Burton has worked the magic of Roald Dahl and Johnny Depp was great as Willy Wonka.
The set looked lovely and the Ompa Lompas were classic.
My only problem that I had was location. Where was the film set? Half the cast were British the other American. The streets looked Victorian, yet Charlie found a $5 note.
If you haven’t seen it yet, go and see it.

Been a while since I’ve done any reviews, and I’ve read quite a few books.
Over the next few days, I’ll try and post some more, however today Harry Potter.
The new book was ok. I read it within 24 hours, but I’m finding the stories a bit repetitive and predictable. Don’t want to give away any spoilers, but surely everyone guessed who would die (and why are the press blocked from leaking plot lines, yet Ms Rowling can give away really big ones?) I suppose we’ll just be waiting around 3 years for it to be finally finished. Will JK kill off Harry in the final book? I think she will, but it’s going to be a while until we find out.

Yesterday me and Heather went on one of our drives.
We headed down the A1, and turned off towards Melton Mowbray. Looking at the map Heather realised that we weren’t too far away from Heather, it’s somewhere we’ve mentioned before and said we would visit.
Upon arriving in Heather, we discovered that it was their Scarecrow Festival, so we had a wander around looking at the local efforts.
Having visited Heather, next stop had to be Quinton.
We had two choices, Quinton in Northamptonshire or Quinton in the West Midlands. We opted for Quinton in Northamptonshire as this just meant driving down the M1.
Quinton was less exciting than Heather, however it was very picturesque.
Unfortunately looking at maps we can’t find Ryan, but we can find a Cullen, the only slight problem is the drive.
