Being too young to remember the original I would like to thank Tony and David for getting me in to the new version.
As it’s on Sky One I didn’t have much chance to watch it. However on New Years Eve whilst at Sally’s and Tony’s I watched the feature length pilot/movie. Then a couple of weeks ago whilst staying in Newbury in a hotel, I watch one of Season 2 with David.
I’ve now gone and got the DVD of season one, and I’m getting through the episodes pretty quickly. As somebody who been watching a lot of American shows at the moment (24, West Wing, Smallville, Surface, Invasion, Lost, Firefly) this is definitely one of the better ones.
Too young? Pah, I remember it!

I’ve really enjoyed this series too. I caught most of the first series on Sky and have enjoyed the new series so far.
It is a lot darker than the original ans all the better for it.
I agre with you that there is some cracking stuff coming out of the US at present.
I too agree that the current American market is first rate, the problem seems to be though that there is a definate Sci-fi backlash going on at the mo and lot’s of good shows are being axed after only one seson….The new Doctor Who is about to be shown there and hopefully this will fair better than recent shows.
I love the show as well, especially that Tricia Helfer (number 6!). I was trying to find a pic of her and discovered the whole cast on Rubberfaces.com – whoaa! talk about fun, would love to play with her in real life!
